Santoria M. Sawyer

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Santoria is one of 18 children. At a young age, she was exposed to a life of drugs, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. determined to have a future that was brighter than her past, santoria focused all of her energy on her education and community involvement. she held multiple leadership positions in the organizations she was involved in and graduated Valedictorian of her high school class in 2010. She also became a national coca-cola scholar.

After high school, santoria moved to Columbus, Ohio where she later graduated from The Ohio State University. There, she founded a Latina-based multi-cultural sorority and told her story on many forums throughout the years. Currently still a resident of Columbus, Santoria is the youngest corporate manager at one of the fastest growing private companies in America. “The Broken Crayon… That Colored Still” is her first book.
